I was browsing some stuff on technorati and i came upon this awesome podcast by Dan McWeeney. He talks of the rise of the new kind of developer called the “Mashup Developer”. He talks about Flex Developers are one falling in that kind and has references to Doug McCune among others. Really nice.. Check it out

Mashups were meant to show different services in one view (possibly the first guy who did the mashup, did it for a browser) and with AIR, mashups can have a whole new dynamism in how they are shown. I saw great demos at MAX at how multiple windows, transparency etc were used along with multiple services. I would love to move out of the browser chrome to get more dynamism – Great times to come !!! Flex rocks, AIR rocks
